close up of boy holding golf ballThe First Tee strives to teach young people about values, life skills and healthy habits they can use on and off the golf course. And with national youth opportunities like The First Tee Academies to help prepare participants for college golf, it’s no wonder that The First Tee has seen more than 1,750 of our alumni go on to play college golf!

“Playing in The First Tee events allowed me and my game to grow in a supportive and welcoming environment. The First Tee has been an ideal place for me to grow,” said Clare Sorensen, an alumna from The First Tee of Greater Sacramento and member of the University of San Francisco‘s golf team.

They’ll take you LIVE to Hutchinson, Kansas for the final three days of the 2014 NCAA Men’s Golf Championship tournament as an individual and a team champion will be crowned. The famed Prairie Dunes Country Club – carved out of the Kansas landscape in the 1930’s and host to numerous national championships – will be a true test for this year’s competitors.
