Participants will submit a written essay focusing on how the students are a ‘Power for Good’ through service to their communities, schools, and/or neighborhoods. The essay should include a summary of the impact of their efforts and how their work is connected to the values learned through First Tee and the game of golf.

Selection Process
Three essay applicants will each win a one-time $5,000 contribution to their college education, plus an enriching learning opportunity at the John Deere Classic in Silvis, IL. The experience includes accommodations for four-days/three-nights and air transportation for two, plus the chance to play in the Wednesday pro-am.
How to Participate
This event is only available to teens involved in chapters of First Tee. Most of the events and programs have a selection process that includes an application reviewed by a committee. Parents, if you want your child to participate, please inquire at your chapter.
