The Youth Leadership Summit recognizes exemplary achievement by a young person currently involved in First Tee programming. Participants will be evaluated in the areas of academic achievement, community service, chapter involvement, leadership, short essay responses and letters of recommendation. This is an interactive and educational summit in which participants will have the opportunity to develop plans for leading a meaningful service project in their communities focusing on raising awareness on global issues. Participants who are selected to attend the Youth Leadership Summit will have the opportunity to learn from and work with Global Citizen Year fellows in order to apply the skills and concepts learned at the three-day summit and become social change leaders.

How to Participate

This event is only available to teens involved in chapters of The First Tee. Most of the events and programs have a selection process that includes an application reviewed by a committee. Parents, if you want your child to participate, please inquire at your chapter.
